Discipline

  • Special attention is given in maintaining a high standard of morality and discipline in the school by insisting on regular attendance, punctuality, application to class and homework, neatness of person and dress.
  • Pupils are taught to show respect to their teacher and to all members of the school. On their way to and from School, they are expected to behave themselves in gentle manner.
  • No students shall leave School premises during School hours or recess without prior PERMISSION OF THE PRINCIPAL.
  • Students should be in school five minutes before the first bell. The school gate will be closed after the 1st bell.
  • Late corners will be allowed to the class only after getting their Regularity record/Diary signed by the Principal.
  • The first bell before class is a signal for all to go to the Assembly in proper order.
  • After assembly they should go to their classrooms, do the prayer, get their books ready in silence and should prepare for the beginning of class. Perfect silence should be maintained all through the classes.
  • Students are not permitted to enter any classrooms other than their own, unless accompanied by a teacher. During the recess, everyone should vacate the classrooms.
  • During the absence of the teachers, the class-leader will be responsible for the order and discipline of the class.
  • Running and shouting inside the School building should be avoided. Any damage or disfigurement done to the School property will cause fora fine.
  • Smoking, Pan-parag, Chewing-gums etc. are strictly forbidden. D.M.S. expects personal cleanliness from all pupils. The uniforms must be neat and clean, shoes well polished, nails pared and hair trimmed, shaggy or dirty hair may earn demerits for the student.
  • All should take an honest pride in keeping the School premises clean by not littering it.
  • Books (other than school text books and note books or library books) magazines or paper should not be brought to school without the permission of the Principal.
  • The School is not responsible for the goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles to the school.
  • No collection or subscriptions of any kind is to be made in the School. Meetings, Picnics, must not be arranged without the permission of the Principal.
  • Students who are unable to take part in the physical training, must produce an application signed by their parents.
  • Every student should have his/her own copy of the school diary for guidance and must bring it to School everyday.
  • Students are advised to speak only English in the School premises.
